Michael Jackson was a boy with the talent of singing. He was born in August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He had 4 other brothers. When he was 9 he and his brothers started a band called the "Jackson 5." He was a solo musician at age 11. This was the beginning of a long career.
The real deal started when Michael created his hit song "Thriller." It was such a hit that "MTV" decided to play it on their show. This was the first African-American to be on the show. But the former president of CBS Records, Walter Yetnikoff, remembered with scorn that MTV would not play "Billie Jean" or "Beat It" because it billed itself as a rock station. But Just him getting them to play "Thriller" was enough to break the racial barrier.
I do agree with what Michael did because now he paved the road for ous music stars of color.
