Eulogy For Elie's Father

The assignment is to write a eulogy for Elie's father from the book Night (written by Elie Wiesel) This eulogy is from Elie's point of view.

As I watched my father just lying there. I didn't cry. I felt no anger. I just watched as he lied there. The one and only thing that still kept me going was now gone. I knew that the end to all this was near. Why couldn't my father have survived a bit longer. We could've gone out alive, together. He is now gone. What hurts the most is that I wasn't even able to say good-bye.

My father was always there for me. In the upsides and downsides. I had always wanted to be a Rabbi, although my gather never really did approve of it. This angered me and honestly made me hate him a little bit. I didn't like him much sinse he did not respect my beliefs and decision. After the transports and arriving to the camps. After the selection my old man was all I had. The one I truly believed in, God, had abandoned me. My father became the reason for me trying to survive everyday. We survived the sections, the march, the cattle cars and everything that was put in our path. Then one morning he just didn't wake up. I just watched as they threw out a dead body....my fathers corpse. I just wish I could've been able to say my last good-bye. The last thing i was able to do was watch as the SS Soldier carried out the body

Zoo: Is it Good or Bad?

Most people just go to the zoo as a regular activity. No one actually thinks about what goes on or what people, or even the animals, think about this. The zoo's sometimes misstreat the animals. I mean do you actually think the sea lions or other domestic anymals are trained just like that? Yes they are given positive reinforcement. (such as food or toys) Does anyone think of what happens when the animals mess up? Not only that but they are not allowed to be with their families. Many of the animals are taken away from their parents at a young age so they can be exibihited for others to see at the zoo. Those animals will neever get to experience the real obstacles and dangers in life. Their habitats will never be exactly how they would be out in the wild. On the bright side though sometimes these zoo keepers capture and endagered species and allow it to reproduce so we can have more of that species (ex. the panda) Still though, these animals have less space and sometimes they are forced to interact with other species who dont really like each other. I think they shoudl have better ways to show these animals or improove the exhibits but please stop messing with the poor innocent animals.

Media Teams Merge

I dont like the idea of both teams merging together. One team will want to take over the other team. If the teachers think we are fighting right now, then merging the teams will add to the problem. When the other team takes over the other one will get mad because they probably will ignore their ideas. One team will end up getting hurt. So technichally I just dont like the idea of the teams merging together as one.

The Magical Changes in My Life (ignore "magical")

Hello there. it is me Abraham. I have not posted sense the new year started. OK so sense then lets see what has happened.

1. I'm in 8th grade

2. I grew (a little)

3. My voice got deeper (or at least thats what everyone keeps telling me)

4. I went to San Antonio again

5. I don't know what else to put

OK so maybe not that many things changed

So i just logged on to see if anything had changed on here. Apparently not. I thought maybe they had blocked my blog sense i hadn't accessed it in a long time.

UHHHH

FINNALLY MY HOMEWORK IS DONE. After 2 days of horrible torcher its done.. I didnt achieve the 200,000 miles but i tried. it would have taken over 50 places to achieve it. Maybe! So yeah thats about it.
